With concerns surrounding COVID-19, Puma Energy would like to reiterate our commitment to support the safety and health of our team, customers, suppliers and wider Australian community.
In addition to our current guidelines, Puma Energy has implemented extensive safety and hygiene practices across all our locations and sectors that align with the latest Federal Government and World Health Organisation recommendations.
To combat COVID-19 at all our Australian retail sites, Puma Energy is:
- Thoroughly cleaning and sanitising high-contact areas at all fuel stations, including but not limited to, pump handles, counters, shelves, doors and forecourts every hour.
- Encouraging tap-and-go payments and self-scanning any discount or loyalty cards to minimise contact.
- Strongly recommending the government-implemented measures of social distancing by maintaining a distance of 1.5m from anyone at all Puma fuel stations.
To combat COVID-19 at all our Australian commercial depot sites, Puma Energy has:
- Implemented contactless and cashless measures with the predominant usage of Outdoor Payment Terminals. However, it is important to note that these depots are still staffed and, should customers require further assistance, they must call the relevant depot’s number.
Puma Energy also has a global and diversified supply base with secure contracts in place to support business in Australia. We are in constant communication with producers and suppliers to understand and proactively eliminate or mitigate any potential risks. We are working with our suppliers to ensure our convenience stores are fully stocked to allow our customers access to food, drinks and other essentials.
Throughout these times, Puma Energy is committed to energising the community and displaying proper hygiene practices in line with the latest recommendations from authorities. We thank you for your continued loyalty, support and trust.
